About us

Hi there,

We're Piya and Daniel — married, with two kids, and very much a work in progress.

We're not a family that has it all figured out. Far from it. But we are a family that is striving toward holiness, stumbling along the way, and learning as we go. This site is our journey — what we're learning, what we're reflecting on, and what God is teaching us through it all.

If we're being honest, this is firstly a notebook for us. A place where we can look back and remember what the Lord has done, how He's shaped us, and what we were thinking along the way. We hope that one day our children — and their children — will have this as an archive of our thoughts, our faith, and the things that mattered most to us.

But we also know that what we write here might be helpful to others who are in the same boat. Other families trying to figure it out. Other believers wrestling with the tension between the mess of daily life and the call to something greater. If that's you, welcome — you're in good company.

We're both involved in ministry in different capacities, sharing the love of Christ with others. We give freely because God has been so generous with us — He's blessed us with good jobs that allow us to provide for our family and beyond, to give our time and resources to share the good news of Jesus.

On the practical side, Daniel is a technical CTO by profession and has been involved in a few startups over the years — which is how we're able to build and share things like this site naturally. Tech is just one of the tools God has given us to steward.
